The X user @Moon_are_shiit who has always shared her candid takes on lifestyle and relationships, posted: “I hate how you people find new ways to complicate life. Bridal shower, bachelorette, baby shower, gender reveal and now I’m seeing wedding date reveal cakes. Are you people mad?!”
The post quickly caught the attention of many who feel modern milestone celebrations have expanded into excessive, Instagram-driven events that places pressure on couples and guests alike while others rushed to defend the creativity behind the trend.
