However, while movie enthusiasts on a global scale are celebrating the life he lived, not many people are familiar with the weird facts about the deceased.

But below are some weird facts about the late actor:

  • He lost his virginity when he was a child. The deceased had disclosed during a chat with Women Magazine, how he lost his virginity. Connery said his love for women started at a very young age, hence, this led him to lose his virginity at the age of eight. His words: “I can’t recall how it happened or with whom; I only know I did. I have always loved women; blonde, brunette but preferably foreign. They’re more attractive than British and American women.”
  • He became a model for the wrong reason. As shocking as this may sound, it’s a fact. Connery’s love for women drove him into modelling. He came a model to impress women. “I paid 15 shillings a week to join a weightlifting club. I started lifting weights, not so much to be fitter but to look good for girls,” he told the magazine.
  • He was a school dropout. Connery dropped out of school at the age of 13 and took up a series of menial jobs, including being a milk delivery man and lorry driver. Later at the age of 16, he joined the Royal Navy, but at that time, he hadn’t returned to school.

Connery will no doubt be missed by many. May his soul rest in peace.
