
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke popularly called Davido, has shared his plans after he retires from the music industry.
The singer who has picked himself up after losing another Grammy during an interview with the Long Form Podcast, noted that when he steps down from making music, he can call his children and share his records with them all.
This chat generated from a question on how the superstar is creating a generational wealth. In his words Davido said; “First of all the most important this is getting a good contract, a good music contract and ownership so that at the end of the day when I’m old, I can call all my children and say ‘You take this record, you take this record.”

The last child of Dr Deji Adeleke, who is a well known billionaire businessman has set a path for himself ensuring to secure a better future for his generations to come by investing in in music ownership.
Davido who is also called ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ which translates in english as a child of a wealthy father, rose to fame in 2011 with his song ‘Dami Duro’. He also gained international recognition with his track Fall in 2017 which was one of the longest charting Nigerian songs on the Billboard charts.
