What Led me into Porn -Afrocandy

Nollywood actress, Judith Mazagwu aka Afrocandy, has disclosed what led her into acting porn.

In a chat with eelive.ng, she said what led her into it was people’s wrong perception about her approach to filmmaking.

While stating that acting porn was not something she saw in view until she found herself doing it, she revealed that the journey started when she produced her 2014 four parts movie, Destructive Instinct.

She said her idea was to add nudity to Nollywood, which she thought would be something new to the industry.

Afrocandy explained that the movie attracted wild criticism from the Nigerian society, as many people started calling her a porn star.

Her words: “After watching a whole bunch of Nigeria movies and I saw that it was boring, I decided to add my own twist, by adding nudity to it.

“The movie generated a lot of controversy at the time, and people started calling me a pornstar. So, when I saw that they have already spoilt my name and there was nothing I could do about it, I now had to give them porn, that was how I got into porn.

“At that time, I saw that money was in it, it was very profitable. I could stay at home and be making money, there was no need to be struggling to survive.”
