Social media personality Oyemykke has expressed strong views on Nigerian media platforms that promote exotic dancing, also known as stripping.
He reacted to a podcast video featuring South African ladies discussing their experiences as exotic dancers in Nigeria.

In the video, one of the ladies claimed to earn between ₦2.5 million and ₦2.8 million per night. Oye Mike expressed concern that such platforms could mislead young girls and sway them away from pursuing education.
“I don’t know what happens to a 16-year-old girl or an 18-year-old girl planning to study medicine or go to university when they see these videos,” he said. Oye Mike’s comments highlight the ongoing debate about the impact of social media on young people’s values and career choices.
Standing on the fence while commenting on one of the clips he reacted to which had Nedu who is also a media personality as the co-host, Oyemykke noted that he would not blame Nedu for platforming these ladies as this is watch his audience want to watch. He highlighted that bringing ladies with successful jobs or ladies who are successful entrepreneurs, he will get less views but promoting ladies who are materialistic and do sexual jobs, fetches these podcasts.
