White Money’s experiences with rejection were multifaceted. He would often audition for record labels and brand endorsements, only to be turned down. His words; “I was denied a lot of time privileges. You know why? I know that I could audition for like when record labels want to open up and they’re looking for auditions for artists to come sing, I’m going to sign, I’ll go. They’ll turn me down. When I go for auditions for Billboards, for maybe all these brands, they turn me down.”

He also felt that his financial status affected his relationships, with some women rejecting him because he didn’t have money. “Even from the women, I got rejected because I was broke, I didn’t have money, I was just looking good, but I didn’t have cash. And you know, money and love work hand in hand,” he continued. According to White Money, “You can just go to the market, price it. How much is that love? Like, 100,000? You can buy it. When it finishes, you renew it or you upgrade.”

White Money noted that the financial struggles had a significant impact on his life and career. He was rejected not only by women but also by men and friends. The only people who stood by him during this period were his immediate family. Despite facing rejection four times in a row for Big Brother Naija, White Money persevered and eventually found success when he was accepted on his fourth attempt.
