Don Jazzy, renowned music executive and Mavin Records boss, has offered a brutally honest take on love, monogamy, and why he believes he isn’t built for a one-woman relationship.
Appearing on The Nancy Isime Show, the hitmaker revealed that he lacks the discipline required to stay faithful in a romantic partnership.
“I don’t believe I’m strong enough to be with only one person,” he said. “Some people have the strength to be sexually committed once they’re attracted to someone but I’m not one of them.”
Don Jazzy emphasized that he prefers to be honest rather than pretend, even if that honesty may drive potential partners away.

“People may run from me because I’m being truthful, but I won’t lie and tell you you’re the only one if that’s not the case,” he added. “Just because I find one woman beautiful doesn’t mean I’ll stop admiring others. They’re beautiful too.”
This isn’t the first time the music mogul has spoken candidly about his romantic life. In 2021, fans were stunned when Don Jazzy revealed he had been married at the age of 20, a secret he kept from the public for nearly two decades. According to him, the marriage ended just two years later due to his dedication to music and lack of maturity at the time.
“I was naive and focused solely on my music. I sacrificed my relationship for my ambition, and I don’t regret it, but I learned from it,” he had said during the revelation.
The confession sparked a flurry of reactions online, with many questioning why he kept such a major part of his life private for so long. Others speculated that the failed marriage might be part of the reason he avoids long-term commitment today.
Despite public curiosity and frequent matchmaking attempts by fans, Don Jazzy has remained single and unbothered, often stating that he’s not in a rush to remarry.
