Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie, better known as Erigga, has opened up about his strong passion for music, saying he cannot quit the industry, no matter the situation.
Speaking in an interview with Hip TV, the Delta-born rapper explained that unlike some artistes who leave the music scene for different reasons, he remains committed because music is not just a career for him but a way of life.

According to him, every year, several artistes step away from music due to personal challenges or lack of motivation. However, Erigga made it clear that quitting is not an option for him because his love for music goes beyond money or fame.
In his words, “Every year, people leave music for real-life issues. But I can’t stop. Music is life. It’s what keeps me going. Take the business and everything out of it, it’s more of a passion. I can’t disappoint my fans.”
Erigga, who has built a strong following over the years with his street-inspired rap style and relatable lyrics, stressed that his major drive is the passion he has for the art. He said that even when things get tough in the industry, his connection to music keeps him grounded and focused.
The rapper further noted that he finds joy and fulfillment in creating songs that speak to the reality of everyday Nigerians, especially those from the streets who look up to him.
