“I shed tears because of my mum, who I lost few months ago. She was my biggest fan and friend. If she were alive, I am sure that night would have been a big one for her too. Painfully, she is not here. However, I am sure that she is happy where she is that I won.”

However, on how he felt winning the award, the Smash actor said, “The feeling was good, although, I was surprised. I didn’t see the nomination coming. It was a complete surprise for me”

Funny Bone also noted that plans were in the works to produce his own movie. He added, “Winning the award was like a wake-up call for me to do my own thing. My strength lies in making comedy films that people would watch, laugh and learn.”

On his greatest fear, Funny Bone said, “Failure is what I’m most afraid of. Before, it used to be not disappointing my mother. Now, it is failure because I know I would never disappoint her. However, I know for sure that I will never fail. It just keeps me on my toes to be better every day.”
