Nigerian skitmaker and singer, Lawal Nasiru, known as Nasboi, has revealed that he considers himself both a Muslim and a Christian due to his religious upbringing.
Nasboi made this known in a post via his 𝕏 handle on Thursday, October 16, 2025 after he explained his background.
According to the content creator, his father is a Yoruba Muslim, and his mother is a Christian from Warri, Delta State, adding that this is the reason it is difficult for him to be a bigot.
Nasbio further stated that being born and raised in Port Harcourt and having studied in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, made him neutral on tribal and religious matters.

In his words, “My papa Yoruba, my mama Warri. My papa Muslim, my mama Christian.
“I was born and raised in Port Harcourt. I studied at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom. This is why I can never relate to tribalism or all the religious agendas.”
Reacting to the post, a fan asked the skitmaker to clarify his religion, “So what re you Christian or Muslim”
Nasbio humorously replied that he is “Christmus,” a blend of Christian and Muslim.
He wrote, “I am Christmus [both Christian and Muslim].”
