Nollywood actor Olaiya Igwe has made a confession on the reason he disappointed popular gospel singer Tope Alabi when she came to him for help.
The actor while making the confession when speaking at a recent event opened up that the gospel singer during her wedding had reached out to him to borrow his car. The actor recounted that he had earlier been robbed and the car was taken away and fortunately, the car was found two days later.
Four days after the incident, he said that was when Tope Alabi and her husband came to him to use the car for their wedding.

On the part on how he disappointed them he said; “Tope Alabi and her husband came to me at my home in Abeokuta that they want to borrow my car for their wedding as at that time meanwhile four days ago, the car was stolen by armed robbers but was found two days later. I didn’t tell them what happened but I asked when the wedding was and agreed to give them the car. I was using ‘V Boot’ then. I knew I was not going to give them because of what happened but I gave them my word.”
He went on to explain that his mindset was if he goes ahead to borrow them the car, it might be collected again by armed robbers.
