Why Majek Fashek Won’t Be Buried in Nigeria -Son
Legendary Nigerian singer, Majek Fashek will be buried in New York, United States. This is according to Randy, the first of three children born to the late reggae star’s by Rita, his ex-wife.
In a video circulating on social media, Randy disclosed that the decision not to bury Fashek in Nigeria, is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Randy however thanked the singer’s fans and well-wishers for their love and support, during Fashek’s time and even after his death.
Recall that Fashek passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020, in New York, where he will be buried.
He died at the age of 57 after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
