Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has dismissed health concerns, revealing that the growing size of her neck is due to the food she’s been consuming.
The actress’ clarification comes after some social media users suggested she might be dealing with a health condition.
Reacting to the concerns, the actress, via her Instagram, explained that there is no medical issue behind it, saying her neck appears large because of her body build and her love for food.
The actress also noted that the feature runs in her family and is not linked to any illness such as thyroid disease or goitre.
Etinosa expressed displeasure at what she described as the constant scrutiny of celebrities for signs of illness, adding that some people seem quick to assume or wish ill health on public figures rather than focusing on their overall appearance and well-being.

Idemudia insisted that she is in good health and will not accept negative assumptions about her body, adding that people should stop projecting personal fears onto her.
She said: “I just want to tell you people that my neck is fat, as you can see. I like food a lot, I really do like food. I am not a goiter case, and it is not thyroid. Don’t project your future sickness on me. I am not sick.
“Hello, I know some of you enjoy it when a celebrity comes online to say they are sick and starts asking for help. You people like hearing about sickness in popular people, but that is wicked and evil. Stay away from me. I do not have any sickness in my neck, and by the grace of God, anyone who wishes me that kind of sickness will go back to sender.
“As you can see my neck like this, it is natural. This is how my mother’s neck is, and this is how we are in my family. My daughter’s neck is the same too, even though she is still small. She is enjoying life. That is how almost all the women in my family are. We all carry it well. If you see my aunties, you will understand.”
