Nigerian entertainment commentator Tunde Perry has dropped bombshell details explaining why popular TikTok streamer Peller was unable to link up with popular American streamer iShowSpeed during his brief, chaotic Lagos visit on the “Speed Does Africa” tour.
In viral clips circulating on X, Tunde Perry revealed he was on a conference call with Nigeria artiste Olamide’s management and iShowSpeed’s team and got to hear why Peller was blacklisted. According to Perry, Speed’s management stated that the reason Peller was ignored and denied access was because of an old video from September 2025 where Peller publicly declared that he would snub Speed if he ever visited Nigeria.

In the resurfaced clip, Peller said: “If iShowSpeed comes to Nigeria, I’ll ignore him the same way he ignored me”, clamming that the young streamer had been ignoring his chats. Perry claimed this exact video is saved on Speed’s iPad, suggesting the team researched Peller beforehand and decided against any interaction.

Perry also criticized Peller’s approach, stating: “Peller lacks management because he doesn’t listen to his management and people around him. He is too proud.”
Peller’s persistent efforts to meet Speed, including viral clips of him being flung aside by bouncers, only expanded the drama and turned the snub into a trending topic.
