Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite on set for Bad Boys 3/Will Smith’s Instagram 

Followingng last year’s announcement of Bad Boy 3 aka Bad Boys for Life,  Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite on set as the movie  commenced shooting today. Smith announced their reunion yesterday on his Instagram page.

“First day of shooting tomorrow! We watched Bad Boys 1&2 together over the weekend. It is about to be crazy,” the post reads with a picture of the two actors posing against the backdrop of the movie poster.

Late last year, the duo announced the official reboot of the franchise fifteen years after its second instalment. The third instalment will be Lawrence’s big project since Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son in 2011.

Bad Boys 3 will be centred on both agents’ fight against the operations of a local drug cartel in the Miami strip. The character Armando Armas, an unforgiving figure who heads the cartel will be played by Jacob Scipio while Smith and Lawrence will reprise their roles of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Other actors added to the cast include Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Charles Melton.

Like Venom 2 and Avatar 2, Bad Boys 3 earns a spot as one of the anticipated movies of 2020. Its first and second instalment earned $141.4 million and $273.3 million in 1995 and 2003 respectively.
