
Nigerian social media personality Sir Dickson, popularly known on X as Wizarab10, has emerged winner of the X Influencer of the Year award at the fifth edition of the Pulse Influencer Awards, organised by Pulse Nigeria and sponsored by Livescore Bet Nigeria.

The award was presented in recognition of his sharp, engaging commentary on African stories, music, football, and popular culture, which has helped him build a strong and loyal following on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Pulse Africa’s Chief Executive Officer, Katharina Link, highlighted these qualities in a personalised note, praising Wizarab10 for consistently shaping conversations and spotlighting African narratives in creative ways.

Following the announcement, several fellow content creators and fans took to social media to congratulate him. Influencers such as YOM and Oku publicly celebrated the win, commending his consistency and influence online.

However, the decision also sparked mild debate, with at least one user suggesting that another nominee might have been more deserving reflecting the competitive and passionate nature of Nigeria’s digital space.
The awards night featured several other notable winners across different categories. TikTok sensation Jadrolita picked up honours for her viral creativity, while Nollywood star Funke Akindele was recognised as Most Influential Actress, further underscoring the event’s celebration of impact across film and social media.
