Spanish players and officials have been presented with customized championship rings following their 1-0 win over Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
An extra-time goal from Ferran Torres secured Spain’s second World Cup title in a predominantly one-sided clash in the final against Argentina on Sunday, July 19. Following their newly attained world dominance, FIFA President Gianni Infantino delivered the inaugural Super Bowl-style gold rings to the winners.

FIFA Presents New Jewellery for World Cup Winners
Ahead of the final, FIFA had revealed that it had manufactured ‘bespoke championship rings’, 30 of which will be presented to the winner in New Jersey.

Infantino delivered on his promise after the World Cup presentation. He was filmed presenting them to the Spanish champions in their locker room.
Championship rings have long been a feature of North American sport, with the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series ring, National Football League (NFL) Super Bowl ring, National Basketball Association’s (NBA) championship ring and National Hockey League (NHL) Stanley Cup ring among the most famous and expensive.

A FIFA press release stated that one side of the ring features a World Cup trophy, while the other side will have a custom design to reflect the winning team.
The ring’s official website says it is made of 18-karat yellow gold and includes 89 diamonds and 36 sapphires.
World football’s governing body described the rings as “the perfect lifelong fit for an achievement that will echo through eternity”.
A further 1,996 rings will go on sale to fans for $12,000 each.
