WurlD Drops Matrix-Inspired Music Video for “Love Nobody”

Alte singer WurlD has had a great time rolling in the success of his collaborative album with superstar producer Sarz. But WurlD looks to be in a bit of Trobul in the new music video for Love Nobody.

Premiering at 4PM on Friday, the video sees the blue-haired crooner tied to a chair and singing while being rescued by a caucasian femme fatale. The dynamic duo spends the length of the video clad in black leather, beating up their enemies, and driving off in a getaway car.

His first single of the year, WurlD offers an escape during the coronavirus lockdown; you almost feel guilty watching him. Like, who let them go outside?

The Mad singer said the lockdown was a positive thing for his music though; because “we are approaching the rollout with new and innovative ways to reach our audience.”

WurlD Love Nobody

The Love Nobody music video, directed by WurlD and Parker McMillan and takes place in a “fictional city”, which is actually Los Angeles, California. The video also takes cues from The Matrix (which explains all the leather) and Japanese anime.

Speaking to Okay Africa about the video, WurlD said, “I was blessed to have professionals in the movie industry on set from the lead actress to the stuntmen. It was another day to learn something new for me. I hope to do more acting in the near future.”

“I had an idea of a “Female saving the WurlD” in my head while watching the James Bond “Casino Royale” movie. Everything else came to life as soon as I shared the concept with my team and director”, he added.
