Nigerian rapper, Ycee, has explained why he decided to take a break from the music industry.
During a recent livestream with steamer Cater Efe, the rapper, whose real name is Oludemilade Martin Alejo, revealed that he took a break from music to concentrate on personal development.

“I have been on the mountain. I went on a journey of self-discovery. But I am back,” he said.
YCee also explained the lore behind his moniker “Omo Alhaji”, revealing that his dad is a Muslim even though he is not being a practicing Muslim.
