Samuel “Sammy” Daniels, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has added new details to recent allegations that the actress endured domestic violence at the hands of her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
According to an earlier report by eelive.ng and a viral video shared on social media, Regina was filmed crying as she left her Abuja home after a heated altercation.
In the clip she can be heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. I can no longer stand the violence, it is too much.”
The video also captures a chaotic scene in which members of Regina’s family appear to confront men they say were sent to assault her. One sibling is heard warning, “If anything happens to my sister, Regina, in this house, it won’t be funny.”
Posting on Instagram, Sammy alleged that the senator fled the scene after reportedly smashing Regina’s head against a wall. He wrote that he would have retaliated had he been present and threatened to “burst all your jaw” in defense of his sister.
In his words: “Makachi! E pain me say una wan finally laugh my sister. Let me repeat, anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, i go fight with my blood. Senator Ned Nwoko you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you run comot send thugs! I sewear I for burst all your jaw.”
Sources say Regina has since moved out of the marital home and is reportedly ending the marriage.
