Chinelo Rita, Nollywood actress, popularly known as Chinelo Nwaa, has publicly called out her colleague, Ruby Ojiakor, for what she described as a display of fake love and insensitivity within the entertainment industry.
In a strongly worded message shared via her Instagram story, Chinelo expressed deep disappointment over Ruby’s failure to reach out or console her following the heartbreaking loss of her younger sister, despite previously inviting her to celebrate her wedding and even requesting her to buy outfits for the event.

Chinelo questioned the priorities of some colleagues, wondering why showing up for parties seems to matter more than showing up during moments of grief. She urged her peers to learn how to match the same energy and love people extend to them.
“People think attending a wedding is cheap,” she lamented. “Learn to reciprocate the energy people give you. Those who love me know I would move mountains for them right or wrong. That’s just who I am.”
The actress went on to describe the overwhelming presence of pretense in the film industry, labeling it as a space filled with “fake love” and “wicked souls.”
“There’s absolutely nothing in this life,” she wrote. “I’m not saying this for clout, but the fake love in this industry is alarming. You all pray in God’s name, yet fail to act in love. We’re just pencils in God’s hands. I don’t know how to keep grudges or beef people, that’s not who I am.”
