Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson has sparked widespread debate on social media after sharing his opinion on dating experiences involving Nigerian women at home and those living abroad.
Egbuson made the statement during a recent conversation, where he suggested that men may have a better dating experience with Nigerian women based overseas compared to those residing in Nigeria.

According to Egbuson, differences in environment and exposure may influence relationship dynamics and expectations, ultimately shaping how individuals approach dating.
“You’ll get a better dating experience from a Nigerian girl living abroad than a Nigerian girl living here,” he said.
However, while some agreed with what Egbuson said, some are arguing that living abroad often exposes individuals to different cultural values and perspectives, others criticised the statement as a sweeping generalisation.
