Nigerian singer Chike has publicly accused beauty queen Chioma Nneoma Ochibili of defrauding him of $20,000.
The singer, via the microblogging platform X, in a series of late-night posts, alleged that Ochibili deceived him under the guise of doing business, claiming he later discovered he was not the only victim.
“I gave her $20,000 of my hard-earned money,” he wrote, warning others not to fall for what he described as her “numerous lies.”

He also advised others considering any financial dealings with her to reconsider.
“Upon Enquiry, it turns out that’s how she operates . Help her get an actual job. That’s the the only way to maybe help Chioma,’’ he added.
“Use @ ke ? She ain’t on Twitter maybe. Just telling you not to give her your money o. I gave her $20,000.
“There’s probably someone she is telling one of her numerous lies now. This tweet is for you. Don’t be me. You better see this. “
The singer said he would release a more “rational” statement later, noting that his posts were made while he was fatigued.
As of the time of filing this report, Chioma Ochibili has not publicly responded to the allegations.
