Yvonne Jegede: I Have 18 Adopted Children
As Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede celebrates her birthday today (Tuesday, August 25, 2020), she has revealed secret many people didn’t know about her.
In a post on her Instagram page, the screen diva revealed that she has a total of 19 children and 18 of them are adopted.
Jegede made this disclosure when the children surprised her with a birthday video, sending her best wishes and lots of love.
The movie star said she takes the sole responsibility for all the 19 children without support from any foundation or institution, adding that it was simply a love-gesture on her part.
She wrote: “I’ve never mentioned this because I see certain things as personal. So I have been blessed to have 19 children, 1 biologically mine and 18 adopted from the @roydekacademy.
“No foundation no support nor institution supporting me, it’s just all love. They got me crying like a little baby this morning and I want to use this opportunity to say that I love you guys with all my heart. This journey we have started will not end anytime soon.”
