Zoë Kravitz criticizes Will Smith’s outburst at the Oscars

American actress, Zoë Kravitz has criticized Will Smith for striking Chris Rock at the 94th annual Academy Awards on Sunday.

On Tuesday, Kravitz shared her looks from the Oscars on Instagram, making her feelings about the incident clear. She captioned the post,

“here’s a picture of my dress at the show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.”

In a second picture, “The Batman” star wrote, “and here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”

During the ceremony, Smith, walked onto the stage and hit Rock. This happened after the comedian made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. The actress has alopecia.

After going back to his seat, Smith shouted to Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—–g mouth!”.

Later in the show, he was announced as the Best Actor winner and returned onstage amid a standing ovation to deliver a tear-filled speech, apologizing to the Academy and his fellow nominees.

Although, Smith has publicly apologized for this, Rock has made no comments regarding the incident.
