2023 Miss Nigeria USA Pageant to hold in Texas

The Miss Nigeria USA Organization is urging Nigerians in the Diaspora to take part in the upcoming 2023 edition of the beauty pageant scheduled for September 3rd in Houston, Texas, USA.

According to Joy Fakhoury, the President of the organization, the event aims to showcase beauty, talent, and purpose.

Fakhoury stated, “The upcoming Miss Nigeria USA 2023 Pageant is poised to be an enchanting and empowering event, spotlighting grace, beauty, and talent while promoting humanitarian endeavors.”

The event will be held at the renowned Match Theater in Houston and will go beyond traditional beauty contests by emphasizing character, intelligence, compassion, and charisma alongside physical appearance.

The theme for the event is “BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE,” highlighting inclusion and the unique stories that define each contestant’s journey.

Contestants from various US states will not only present their exceptional qualities and aspirations but also showcase the depth of their personalities and commitment to excellence.

Joy Fakhoury further stated, “The contestants will be provided with the opportunity to improve their social skills, improve confidence level, poise, communication skills, personality development, goal setting, career planning, health and fitness.”

The Miss Nigeria USA Pageant, established in 2014, seeks to celebrate the Nigerian woman by appreciating her beauty, talent, skills, and unique attributes. The event serves as a platform for contestants to showcase their physical, cultural, and intellectual attributes while also engaging in philanthropic initiatives through the non-profit organization “Miss Nigeria USA (MNUSA) Cares.”
