5 best romance books of 2021 so far

The rainy season is the perfect season to stay indoors and read a great book. And if you’re looking for good reads, here are some of Insider’s recommendations for the best romance books of 2021 so far.

1. Love in Color by Bolu Babalola

Love in Color is a collection of 13 short stories about love — 10 retellings (ranging from Ghana’s The Princess’s Wedding to Greece’s Psyche and Eros), as well as three New Tales, original short romantic works from Babalola (one of which is based on her own parents’ relationship).

2. Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
