A movie producer snubbed me in 2019 for being broke- Ruger

Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, says a music producer shunne him in 2019 because he was broke.

The musician, taking to his Twitter page on Friday, reached out to the producer in 2019 but got snubbed due to his financial status at that time.

Ruger further asked fans to him out on how to respond to the producer after as he sent him a private message.

He wrote, “I remember back in 2019, I reached out to a producer. I told him I don’t have money but he should please just hear me out. Baba no gree oo. Now hin Dey my DM dey yarn dust. Please my people, how should I reply to him? Please help me.”

Ruger began his music career at a very tender age, and was a member of his school music band as a teenager.

In 2021, D’Prince signed Ruger into Jonzing World and Sony Music Entertainment UK.

Ruger released his debut EP ‘Pandemic’ on March 4, 2021.’

Furthermore, the singer released his second EP titled ‘The Second Wave’ in November 2021.
