American rapper Rakim Athelaston Mayers, professionally known as A$AP Rocky, has dismissed suggestions that his partner, global music star Rihanna’s billionaire status could affect their relationship, insisting that her success only makes him proud.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Jason CC Show, the rapper explained that he has never felt intimidated by Rihanna’s financial achievements.
Although the singer has amassed a billionaire fortune through her music and business ventures, Rocky said he is financially successful in his own right and has no reason to feel insecure.
He said: “My woman “Rihanna” got billions, I got multi-millions. Her success isn’t mine. I am proud of my woman.”

The rapper stressed that he has never viewed Rihanna’s wealth as something that defines their relationship or something he is entitled to.
According to him, genuine love should not be measured by financial status, adding that he celebrates her accomplishments rather than competing with them.
He added: “No one can make me insecure because she is richer than I am. It just doesn’t make sense.”
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna began dating in 2020 after years of friendship. Since then, the couple have become one of the entertainment industry’s most admired pairs and have welcomed three children together: RZA, born in May 2022; Riot, born in August 2023; and their daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, born in September 2025.
Rocky’s remarks have been praised by many fans on social media, with many describing his comments as a refreshing example of confidence and support in a relationship where one partner has achieved extraordinary financial success.
