Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has opened up about the huge personal sacrifices she made to bring her cinematic vision to life.
In a heartfelt interview with City fm, currently making rounds online, the talented Yoruba movie star revealed that she sold her land, cars, gold, jewellery, and other valuable properties to finance the production of her ambitious film, Ajakaju (Beast of Two Worlds).

Speaking emotionally, Ajao explained that the project was so dear to her heart that she liquidated almost everything she owned, investing over ₦250 million, and at one point, her colleague Odunlade Adekola had to borrow 8 million from her to make her project come to life.

“I sold my land, my cars, my gold… I sold all I had at that moment,” she shared during the movie’s promotional interviews and premiere. The actress described the move as a bold step of faith driven by her deep passion for storytelling.
Despite the financial risks, her determination paid off as the film gained attention in Nollywood circles.
