Seasoned actress Mo Bimpe has addressed the trending video of her interaction with her movie colleague Jide Awobona at a movie premiere.
In the trending video, the actress and her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, were on the red carpet with Awobona, who was speaking with the actress.

The suggestive conversation sparked comments from netizens on social media. Some commentators said the actress shouldn’t have gotten too close to Awobona in the presence of her hubby.

The actress said people were reading too much into what she described as a normal conversation between friends.

Bimpe stressed that “not every marriage is toxic,” saying some marriages are built on trust, friendship, respect, and confidence rather than fear, insecurity, or constant monitoring.
She also defended her husband, saying her brief conversation with Awobona, whom she described as a family friend, did not threaten their marriage.
“My husband is a secure man. A brief conversation with a family friend does not threaten our marriage or require anyone’s concern,” Bimpe said.

She added that healthy marriages still exist, saying she understood if some people could not relate to such relationships.
