AFCON 2019 Debuts Theme Song Featuring Femi Kuti And Others
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) organising committee have unveiled the official theme song for the football tournament to be performed live at the opening ceremony.
A team of award-winning musicians including four-time Grammy nominated artist, Femi Kuti, Dobet Gnahoré of Ivory Coast and Egyptian singer Hakim was commissioned to create the unifying song titled “Metgameen”, meaning “we are together”.
