Alex Ekubo & fianceé, Fancy Acholonu announce wedding details
Nollywood sweetheart, Alex Ekubo is really off the market. It is really happening, the eligible bachelor is officially saying goodbye to singlehood. Eelive reported on the couple’s engagement about a week ago. Ekubo and Acholonu had both shared the news on their Instagram page.
This time, the pair have now shared the dates of their wedding. They uploaded the graphics containing the dates on their individual Instagram pages. According to the image shared, the traditional wedding is scheduled for November, 20 2021 in Imo state. Meanwhile, the church wedding is billed to happen a week later in Lagos on 27, November 2021.
In the caption, Ekubo writes, “Let the Countdown begin.” He also shares their official wedding page and hashtags. The Instagram page which is dedicated to their big day already gained over twelve thousand followers.
Ekubo and Acholonu have been gracing their Instagram timelines with their pre-wedding photos too. The latest one had the in matching t-shirts.
They both also wished their mothers Happy Mother’s Day yesterday as well. Acholonu appreciates her late mother with a beautiful picture of both of them. She captions the picture, “Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful angel in heaven…My mom…I miss her so much! I hope she’s proud of me.. Keep resting in peace. I love you!”

Although they have been linked together many times in the past, the two had managed to keep their romance away from social media. Speculations that the two were an item began flying around after they both shared Instagram stories.
Acholonu is an American-born, entrepreneur, model, and actress from Imo state, Nigeria. She is currently the CEO of a Zodiac sign jewellery and accessories store called, Zodiacaa. In addition, she runs The Fancy Kidz, an agency where she teaches acting and modelling to children from ages 6 to 14.
