Angelina Jolie opens up on why she divorced Brad Pitt

Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie has opened up on the real reasons behind her decision to end marriage with Brad Pitt.  She made these revelations known in a recent interview with Entertainment Today.

“Brangelina”, as they were known used to be the IT couple in Hollywood and they gave us major goals back then.

Recall that the former couple met on the sets of the movie, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and fell in love with each other. After dating for years, they got married on 23rd August 2014 in France at Chateau Miraval but they parted ways two years after, breaking the hearts of millions of people around the world.

Since that happened, the couple has not been forthcoming about their relationship or lack thereof. However, Angelina Jolie has opened up about the reason behind her split with Pitt. Talking about the reason behind the separation, Angelina said, “No relationship is ever just black-and-white, and while Brad and I have such different points of view regarding numerous matters, what lead to our divorce primarily were different ideas of how to bring our children up.”

She went on to add that Pitt’s jealousy and his addiction to alcohol played a major role in their decision to split. She added, “His addiction to alcohol was the reason why he lost many opportunities in Hollywood. He was even jealous because I wouldn’t let him promote my business. Nonetheless, he’s the father of my children and I don’t want to talk about it too much.”
