Asa Addresses Insecurity With New Video For “Good Thing”

Nigerian-French singer, songwriter, and recording artist, Bukola Elemide, known popularly as Asa sings about insecurity and acceptance in her song “Good Thing”.
The song tells the story of developing self love and finding one’s good side. Realizing the beauty of life despite all difficulties. 

The music video released this week, was directed by Sesan and produced by TBA.

The video shows a drug addict contemplating suicide, an albino, a plus-sized man and a punk girl with colored hair and multiple piercings. One thing ties them all, a desire to overcome their insecurities and embrace life.

Asa’s “Good Thing” is that soul-lifting song we didn’t know we needed. Because many a time, one doesn’t actually know a good thing until one loses it.
