The season 7 edition of the Big Brother Nigeria kicked off on Saturday, July 23.
The double launched edition of the show tagged ‘Level Up’ season witnessed 12 housemates introduced on the first night of the premiere.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned as host of the season 7 edition of the reality tv show.
Singer Asake performed his hit song ‘Sungbalaja’ ft Grammy winner, Burna Boy at the launch of the show.
This year’s edition of the show will run for 72 days and end on October 2, 2022.
Below are the first set of housemates as introduced by Big Brother:
Groovy
Henry Olisaemeka Orakwe better known as Groovy hails from Anambra State. He described himself as a creative person. He promised to bring a lot of vibes to the show.
Beauty
24 years old Beauty hails from Taraba state. She is a former beauty queen. The housemate promised to bring realness into the show. Also, she is not a fan of love at first sight.
Khalid
22-year-old Khalid hails from Plateau state. He is an artist and a boxer. He is a lover of basketball. He is also not a fan of love at first sight.
Ilebaye
Ilebaye hails from Kogi State. She described herself as a controversial, dramatic and a unique character.
Cyph
Cyph is a native of Imo State. He is a tech professional.
He loves food and also believes in love at first sight.
Amaka
Amaka hails from Anambra State. She described herself as a goal-getter who goes for whatever she wants.
Kess
Kess hails from Delta State. The 28-year-old married man promises to bring good vibes into the show.
Daniella
Danielle Peters is a 22-year-old model and poet. She hails from Cross Rivers. According to her, she does not like drama.
Pharmsavi
Pharmsavi is a pharmacist and low-key entertainer who hails from Akwa Ibom state. He believes the show will help showcase his acting passion.
Phyna
Phyna hails from Edo state. She says she is bringing a lot of energy, vibe and drama.
Bryann
Bryann hails from Edo state. The music producer said he can be annoying on purpose. He is a single pringle and may be ready to mingle in this season.
Christy O
Christie hails from Ondo state. she enjoys sarcasm with the sole aim of throwing people off.
