Asake performs ‘Sungbalaja’ at 2022 BBNaija premiere

The 2022 Big Brother Naija reality tv show has officially kicked off.

The reality tv show tagged ‘Level Up’ kicked off on Saturday, July 23, as earlier scheduled by the organisers of the show.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned as host of the season 7 edition of the reality tv show.

Singer Asake performed his hit song ‘Sungbalaja’ ft Grammy winner, Burna Boy at the launch of the show.

The double launched edition of the show witnessed 12 housemates introduced on the first night of the premiere.

As earlier announced by the organisers of the show, the winner of this year’s edition of the show goes home N50 million cash prize with another N50 million worth of prizes.

This year’s edition of the show will run for 72 days and end on October 2, 2022.

For this year’s edition, there will be no SMS voting as fans will now be allowed to vote for their favourite housemates for free on BBNaija’s official website and mobile app as well as on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.

The headline sponsor for BBNaija season 7 is Pocket by Piggyvest and the associate sponsor is Flutterwave.

The Big Brother Naija is a reality competition television show, where 12 to 21 contestants live together in an isolated house and also compete for the large cash prize.

In the past, the big brother produced multiple winners; changing the lives of many to celebrity status.
