Big Brother Naija Season 11 has hit the ground running with two explosive twists introduced within the first 24 hours, fundamentally changing the gameplay for the 24 housemates competing for the record ₦160 million grand prize.
In the first twist dubbed The Gambit, viewers will vote for one male and one female housemate who will receive guaranteed passage to the finale. These Gambits will remain in the house until the end, compete in all tasks, and enjoy full participation, but they will be ineligible to win the ultimate grand prize.

The second twist came during the inaugural Head of House challenge. Chimsom Chuka, the 27-year-old pharmacist and actor from Anambra State, emerged victorious as the first Head of House of the season, with Abi Ayoola named as Deputy Head of House.

Chimsom secured immunity from eviction this week. However, Biggie detached the luxurious HoH lounge from the title. Chimsom selected Tram through a lucky dip, and Tram chose Sheba to share the exclusive lounge for the week.
With no eviction in Week 1, as the Gambit voting replaces the usual eviction process, these early twists have injected uncertainty and shifted strategic calculations inside the house.
As the “Show Ya Sef” season unfolds, both housemates and fans brace for an unpredictable ride driven by public votes and Biggie’s surprises.
