#BBNaija S6: “My biggest crime was to love you,” Cross begs

Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate, Cross, has stated that his biggest crime was to love Angel. He said this while begging for her forgiveness.

This happened after the live eviction show on Sunday, when the two housemates were in the red room with Pere.

Angel has been giving Cross the silent treatment for some days, without telling him his offence.

In the Saturday night party, the male housemate had knelt down to ask Angel for forgiveness. She refused to acknowledge him.

During the live eviction show, the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, asked Angel why Cross was kneeling before her. She replied saying he has offended her but she was not ready to tell him what he did.

After the show, one again, Cross approached Angel to beg for her forgiveness. He said,

“My heart is clean and my heart is pure. All I did was to love you, that’s my biggest crime. Just to love you, that’s all. And if that’s a crime, I’d rather be in jail forever. Yes, I’ll be in jail.”

Pere spoke on the situation saying, “In this case, you’re not in jail, you’re in prison; maximum security. You’ll be the only one talking to yourself in this maximum prison security that you’ve found yourself.”

Cross said, “I’ll be there. If loving you is the biggest crime that I have ever committed, for you to restrict me from having a conversation with you, to have our relationship back on track, let me go to jail.”

Angel was in the room combing her hair and didn’t make any comment to either of the men.

Last week, Angel and Cross had referred to  themselves as bestfriends and had even kissed.
