Reality TV star and former beauty queen, Beauty Tukura, has called on Nigerians to take their civic responsibilities seriously ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate made the appeal in a strongly worded post in her official Xhandle ,expressing her desire for a better future while encouraging eligible Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards, popularly known as PVCs.

She wrote: “I don’t know about you but God knows I don’t want to sell ‘Akara’ and honestly this is no disrespect to Akara sellers.

She added: “Nigerians get your PVC and get ready to vote and defend those votes come 2027!!!”

The reality TV star made it clear that her statement was not intended to look down on people who sell akara.
