His statement has drawn attention to the often overlooked side of reality television fame. Sir Kess, participated in Big Brother Naija Season 7, popularly known as the ‘Level Up’ edition, in 2022.

The season premiered in July 2022 and featured a number of memorable personalities, including eventual winner, Phyna.

Kess was among the housemates introduced during the season and was later evicted alongside Pharmsavi during the fourth week of the competition.

Before entering the BBNaija house, Kess was introduced as a businessman and a devoted family man.

However his journey on the show may have been relatively short, but his recent comments show that the experience of being a Big Brother contestant can continue long after the cameras are switched off.

For Kess, winning the grand prize is apparently not the only thing that determines how significantly the show changes a person’s life.

According to his reflection, simply becoming a housemate can alter one’s reality, bringing a level of complexity that contestants may not fully understand until they leave the house.
