Blackface is Finally Suing 2Baba
If you have been following this fracas since the days of African Queen, you might be nearing exhaustion. But wait! Things are about to get interesting.
Augustine Ahmedu, also known as “Blackface”, a former band member of Plantashun Boiz alongside 2Baba and Faze, has confirmed that he has taken up his claims against 2Baba in a court of law. Previously, the fallout between both members involved a lot of subpar diss tracks and snide comments (mostly on Blackface’s side). It looks like things are about to get straightened out for real this time.
The bone of contention has been that 2Baba stole some of BlackFace’s music ideas and passed them off as his. The most notable of this theft being “African Queen”, a song that ended up marking 2Baba’s turning point.
BlackFace reveals on his Instagram that he has finally involved his lawyers on the matter. He also apologised to his family and friends who might be affected, adding that he will not be intimidated to back down by any threat.
