Controversial Nigerian media personality, Blessing CEO has reacted to social media users who wished she had died instead of the late Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo.
Earlier, eelive.ng reported that the actor passed away at the age of 41 after battling liver cancer.
Following reports about the cause of his death, some fans made comments suggesting that Blessing CEO should have died instead.
Responding to the backlash, the relationship expert, who previously claimed she was battling stage 4 cancer, expressed anger over the remarks.

She stated: “I don’t understand how people sympathize with the dead and bully the living to die. After Alex died, some people said, ‘God take Blessing CEO and give us Alex.’ God will punish you people. You will die before me.
“Is this not the same Alex you people mocked and called gay? The same person whose ex-fiancée accused of being gay? If his picture had leaked during his vulnerable moment, many of you would not have said it was cancer. You would have mocked him instead. That’s why he kept it private.
“Now that he is gone, everyone is writing emotional tributes. I refuse to be bullied, and I will not die.”
Recall that in March 2026, Blessing CEO claimed she was battling stage 4 breast cancer and appealed to the public for financial support for chemotherapy treatment.
However, the Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) later questioned the authenticity of the medical report she shared, alleging it was forged.
