Britney Spears’ Lawyer Requests the ‘Immediate Suspension’ of her Dad as Estate Conservator

Britney Spears wants her father removed as her estate conservator as soon as possible.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart filed a motion requesting that a judge speeds up the removal of Jamie Spears, her father, as Conservator of the Estate while they await the hearing on Sept. 29.

In the court filing obtained by PEOPLE.com, which reads;

“Conservatee moves for the immediate suspension of James P Spears as Conservator. And the appointment of James Rubin as Temporary Conservator”

According to a source close to Britney, she is pushing for Rubin to act as her Estate Conservator. This is because, “he is not just a regular CPA, but a forensic investigator CPA.”

Jamie Spears’ Lawyer has denied requests to make comment on the situation. Britney is determined to find out if her funds have been misused by her father through the years.

According to the filing, Jamie’s removal will allow Britney to “begin to have a semblance of her ‘life back.'” The change “does not even ask him to admit to fault.”
