In line with his forthcoming album, which is due for release sometime in August 2019, superstar, Damini ‘Burna Boy’ Ogulu put together an early listening party in Los Angeles, California during the week.

The listening party/ house party was held to give – contributors, executives from record labels, Radio stations, online streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, the film and media industry, including clubs personnel – a sneak preview of the album Burna has aptly titled – African Giant.

Some of the guests present were Jidenna, Wale and Akon. One of the guests at the show said: “Burna is the real thing. He makes jams, but they’re spiritual at the same time. So you can be partying, but you’re also connecting to something higher than yourself.”

Although 21 tracks were previewed at the party, only 16 of them will make it to the final cut.

“African Giant” is set for release in August.
