Canadian Rapper Drake Launches Cannabis Brand

Hip Hop Artiste and singer, Drake has launched “More Life Growth Company,” a company based in Toronto, Canada his hometown.

The musician teamed up with the company, “Canopy Growth” thus expanding the Canadian pot giant’s list of celebrity supporters.

He joins surging waves of celebrities in partnering with Canopy Growth company. Celebs like Snoop Dog, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Martha Stewart will be glad to receive him into the family.

Drake will own 60 percent of the company while Canopy will retain 40 percent stake and distribution rights and run its day-to-day operations.

“The opportunity to partner with a world-class company like Canopy Growth on a global scale is really exciting“, Drake said.

He also stated that the idea of being able to build something special in an industry has been inspiring.

“More life and more blessing“, he concluded.

Earlier this week, Drake teased the enterprise by sending mysterious flower bouquets across Toronto to various industry figures and delightfully unsuspecting citizens.

The move comes after Canada‘s nationwide legalisation of recreational marijuana last year. Product details are expected to be released soon.
