Cardi B, Offset fuels split with cryptic posts

Cardi B, an American rapper, and her husband, rapper Offset, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation about a feud between them.

Cardi B recently posted two cryptic messages on her Instagram story about the importance of self-focus and growing out of relationships.

Fans were immediately concerned about the state of her six-year marriage to the former Migos rapper after seeing the posts.

She wrote in her post,

“You know when you just outgrow relationships,” she wrote on one slide, which was followed by, “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.”

Offset, on the other hand, posted his own cryptic message on Instagram. The post is a clip from the film Scarface in which Al Pacino’s character says, “Hey, f**k you, man! Who put all of this together? Me! Who can I rely on? Me!”

This news comes just two months after Offset surprised Cardi with a lavish flower arrangement in their home on her birthday, October 12, 2023.

On that day, she showed her appreciation by adoring him and writing a heartfelt note on Instagram.

Her post read:

“Thank you soo much babe. You always go beyond for me. I love your skin, I love your face, I love your body, your ankles, I love your soul, I love your heart, I love your fart, I love your faith, I love your talent, I will BITE anybody for you lmaaooooo.”

The couple has had a rocky marriage over the years, but they have managed to overcome each issue.

Cardi B filed for divorce in 2020, citing Offset’s repeated infidelity, but the case was dropped after they settled their differences.

They’ve had ups and downs since then, with the most recent being in June 2023, when Offset publicly accused her of cheating on him—an accusation she flatly denied on Twitter, reminding him not to “accuse her of things he knows he is guilty of.”
