Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has taken to social media to address frustrations with actors charging high fees for roles but failing to support the promotion of her films.
In a recent post on her verified Instagram account, Blessing discussed the challenges she faces when actors demand large sums, sometimes up to ₦3 million, to feature in her productions.
However, Blessing acknowledged that actors have the right to be paid their worth, expressing frustration with those who, after being paid, act as though they had worked for free by failing to promote the movie to their followers.

Blessing warned that she would not tolerate such behaviour and hinted that she would take legal action if necessary.
“I am not saying you should not charge 3 million naira to be in my movie. Oh yes, charge your worth. But you see where me and you go get problem? When the film comes out, you act like you worked for free,” she wrote.
Blessing further urged actors to help promote projects they participate in, stating that failure to do so could lead to confrontations at the police station.
