‘Charm City Kings’ Actress, Charged With Girlfriend’s Murder

American actress, Lakeyria Doughty, renowned for her role as “Wheelie Queen” in HBO’s dirt bike culture movie Charm City Kings, has been charged for murder in Baltimore’s first homicide of 2021.

In the incident that happened hours into the new year, the talented dirt bike rider has been charged with first- and second-degree murder, misdemeanor and felony assault and possession of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure in the stabbing death of her 33-year-old partner, Tifanny Wilson.

Baltimore’s police spokesman, Donny Moses told Baltimore Sun that Doughty and Wilson were in a relationship and got into an argument that prompted the former to stab the latter.

“It was a domestic situation where cooler heads didn’t prevail,” he said.

The police also said the actress had called 911 after the face-off . Her partner was later pronounced dead before 4am on January 1 with stab wounds to the chest.

Lakeyria Doughty was taken into custody as a witness and potential suspect and charged.

The 26-years-old shot into limelight after starring in Charm City Kings in October, an adaptation of Lotfy Nathan’s documentary 12 O’Clock Boys starring Meek Mill and Jahi Di’Allo Winston.

The movie was produced by Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
