Comedian Bovi celebrates wife as she marks her birthday today
Bovi Ugbomma, Nigerian comedian is celebrating his wife, Kris Asimonye Ugboma as she marks her birthday today.
The comedian, sharing a photo of his wife in a stunning red dress on his Instagram Page, described her as his pillar and strength.
He wrote “My heart is a year older today. My pillar and my strength; the fresh air I breathe, my vitamin A to Z, my everything plus extra. Happy birthday my partner for life @krisasimonye. May your days be long, beautiful, healthy, wealthy and without sorrow.”
The couple got married in 2009 and have three lovely children.
Bovi began his career in April 2007, starring in the sitcom Extended Family; which he also wrote and produced.
However, he got his big break as a stand-up comedian in Nite of 1000 Laughs organized by Opa Williams.
Also, Bovi worked alongside other Nigerian comedians such as I Go Dye, I Go Save, Basketmouth, Buchi, Odogwu, Okey Bakassi, Julius Agwu and many others.
Bovi premiered his first movie ‘It’s Her Day’ on 9 September 2016. He got nomination for the AMVCA awards as the best actor in comedy; his third individual nomination since the inception of the AMVCA and the fourth from his works.
He wrote and featured in the 2021 comedy movie My Village People.
